Toran Accounting is a registered CPA firm in the state of Wyoming. Established in September 2011, our staff now serves over 500 clients. Our speciality is tax compliance and tax planning for businesses and individuals. We provide bookkeeping, payroll, and consulting to our tax clients . We will ensure and advise that your business tax structure is set up properly to provide the optimal tax advantages.

David Toran, CPA

FOUNDING PARTNER
David Toran moved to Jackson in 2003, drawn by a love for skiing and the outdoor lifestyle. Early on, he noticed a recurring need for accounting services in the various jobs he held, which inspired him to turn his passion for economics into a career that could benefit his community. David pursued an MBA with a concentration in accounting and became a licensed CPA, establishing his practice in 2011. Since then, he has built a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing essential tax and accounting services to local businesses and individuals. David takes great pride in helping clients navigate their financial challenges and achieve their goals.

Artem Kakadiy, CPA

MANAGING PARTNER
Artem Kakadiy is a licensed CPA in Wyoming and the managing partner at Toran Accounting. With a wealth of experience advising businesses across various industries—including construction, real estate, and healthcare—Artem is dedicated to helping clients of all sizes thrive. His career in public accounting began in 2014, following several years with the Internal Revenue Service, where he gained valuable insights into the complexities of tax law.

Originally from the Boston area, Artem holds a B.S.B.A. degree from Salem State University and earned his CPA license in Massachusetts. His love for the outdoors brought him to the West, where he enjoys surfing the Lunch Counter, mountain biking in Cache, backpacking in the Gros Ventre, and skiing wherever fresh powder can be found. Artem is passionate about serving the Jackson community and looks forward to helping clients achieve financial success.

Kenny Phillips, CPA

TAX PARTNER
Kenny Phillips, originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania, made the move to Swan Valley in 1992, later graduating from Teton High School in Driggs, ID, in 1998. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Walden University and spent 17 years honing his expertise in business management, with a focus on leadership, training, customer service, and profitability. Kenny became a licensed CPA in Wyoming in 2015, and he now brings his extensive experience to the Toran Accounting team, specializing in tax services.

Outside of work, Kenny enjoys spending time with his family of four, all of whom share his enthusiasm for sports, particularly football, basketball, and soccer. He also loves to hike and bike in his spare time, taking full advantage of the beautiful surroundings in the region.
